Terms & Conditions

Cancellation Policy: In order to receive a refund of your deposit (when applicable), cancellation must be received 14 days prior to your final payment date and is subject to penalties imposed by the Cruise Line, Bluewater Destinations or Tour Operator which is listed in your brochure. Most Tour Operators have a “no refund policy” on deposits. Cancellation penalties vary between operators. Please read them carefully in your brochure.

Travel Insurance: Is optional and highly recommended to protect your investment of your trip. Coverage is different depending on the company that it is purchased through.

Some coverage allows cancellation for medical reasons only and some offer only a credit refund, not a cash refund. Explanation of coverage will be defined by your Travel Consultant.

If you or an immediate family member have a pre-existing medical condition, trip insurance should be purchased within the first 14 days of your initial trip deposit to cover those conditions should you have to cancel your trip or need attention during your trip. Please tell your travel consultant about any pre-existing medical conditions.

Travel insurance covers more than trip cancellation. Depending on the policy that you purchase, it covers trip interruption, trip delay, baggage and personal effects loss, baggage delay, medical expense and emergency medical transportation while traveling.

Passport Requirements: If you are traveling outside of the Continental United States, you MUST provide a valid passport and it must be valid at least 6 months beyond your travel date.. Visit. www.travel.state.gov for more details.

Hotel Room Location and Information: Adjacent rooms, connecting rooms or specific room location and types of rooms or bedding are on a REQUEST BASIS ONLY and are subject to availability at the time of check-in. These requests for specific room type or location may result in additional charges paid directly to the hotel. Some hoteliers have resort fees to be paid directly to the hotel upon arrival or departure.

Airlines: The flights that you purchase at time of booking are subject to be changed or cancelled BY THE AIRLINE and sometimes without notice. Bluewater Destinations, the cruise line or the tour operator are not responsible for these changes, but we will notify you, should we be notified about the change. Bluewater Destinations isn’t always notified about changes made to air schedules.

Baggage allowance and fees, and check-in procedures vary by airline and are to be paid at the time of check-in. They are not a part of your vacation package price.

It is the responsibility of the passenger to check on airline delays or overbooked flights by the airlines regarding your flight before departing for the airport.
